Influenced by the incidents of inhumane ragging episodes, an AU alumnus developed an anti-ragging mobile application having features to gather evidence, and equipped with a quick response mechanism. In a special interview with Deccan Chronicle, K. Sateesh Kumar, who is also the chairman of Digital Eyecon Pvt Ltd, said though the government and education institutions had taken steps to curb ragging, the culprits always got away scot-free due to lack of evidence.
